Technology is used throughout the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning in a meaningful and exciting way. All classrooms have advanced smartboard TVs and teachers can also make use of laptops in their classroom on in a central facility. We are very vigilant about internet security and educate both staff and children about the proper use of the internet.
All children have weekly technology lessons using “Purple Mash” which is a creative and well-respected technology educational programme for children. It is a cross-curricular resource covering Art to Science and all subjects in between. In Early Years this is done as a class activity but from year 1 onwards pupils have individual access to Purple Mash.
