Saint Pierre School in Leigh-on-Sea has announced a record 11+ pass rate of 89% for pupils who took the exams in September 2025.
School proprietor Kurt Davies said that he was ‘delighted’ with the news, praising both his dedicated teaching team’ and ‘hard-working’ pupils.
He added, “As a school we offer a programme of in-class 11+ preparation and after school tutoring, and this ensures that every child gets a package tailored to their specific needs. My warmest congratulations go to every pupil who passed.”
Headteacher Peter Spencer-Lane feels that the improved pass rate reflects the school’s strong academic progress overall.
He said, “I’m delighted that we have been able to build upon our ‘Outstanding’ 2024 inspection report by taking our 11+ pass rate to 89%.
“Whether your child wishes to take the exam or not, every pupil at Saint Pierre School benefits from our approach of learning crafted to the individual in spectacularly small classes.”
George was one of the children celebrating a ‘pass.’
Proud parent Jenny said, “The incredible academic support and pastoral care provided during Year 5 has helped him achieve his dream of passing the 11+ and applying to Westcliff High School for Boys.
“He’s now happy, healthy and excited to learn whilst being challenged every day. His friends and teachers have helped him look forward to the future. Thanks to all at Saint Pierre.”
